House Panel · Ember Slate · prototype
PROTOTYPE — every figure on this screen is MOCK, except the clock.
Staging copy for Chris's eyes · the production face lives on the house LAN, never on a public page.

Real — this clock is your own device's time

Weather Mock

79° · Rain nearby
Flood Watch until 3:00 PM · ~79% rain at 3 PM · tonight 68°
Production source: the Weather Desk's two-source feed (NWS + Open-Meteo) — disagreements printed, never silently resolved.

House systems Mock

RF picture Mock

Last paired drive — 2 phones · seals EXACT · radios degraded late in the drive
1 uncorroborated lead — one phone only, never a verdict
Production source: the Pavilion RF receiver's intake. Bands and trends only — this panel never claims a bearing, a distance, or a direction.

Alert feed Mock

Record  New device joined the LAN — logged silently, no buzz.
Check  One sense saw something — worth your eyes when you pass by.
The house ladder: RECORD logs · CHECK asks for eyes · CONFIRM needs two independent senses. A panel displays and speaks — it never acts.
Confirm — two senses agree
Something needs you — nothing has been done in your name.
Sense 1 — network: an unknown device is talking to a destination the house has never seen.
Sense 2 — tripwire: a canary file was touched on the same machine, minutes apart. (Mock event — both senses invented for this prototype.)
This panel shows and speaks. It does not block, isolate, or change anything. Only Chris acts.
Prototype controls — these drive the mock:
Real vs mock, printed on the face as the house requires.
REAL: the clock and date (your own device's time) · the face-switching, night dimming, and alert-takeover behavior itself — that choreography is the design being tested.
MOCK: every house figure — weather, system states, the RF summary, and both alert stories are invented for this prototype. No real household data is on this page, and none ever goes on a public staging page.
Production shape: LAN-first — served inside the house (the Pavilion, and later the flashed Show itself), fed by the Weather Desk feed, the correlator, and the RF receiver. No cloud dependency is designed in; if the internet dies, the panel keeps telling house time and house truth.
Fences this design carries: the panel is a house panel — no Rin data, apps, or program appear on it, ever · the iPad keeps the primary panel job (D-2 stands; this is the secondary seat) · display + voice only — a panel never actuates · prototypes are Chris-only for now.
